Colorado Mills is proud to support local agriculture across the Midwest. We contract with local farmers to grow 25,000 acres of sunflower seeds, sustaining our production and ensuring complete control from seed to bottle. We love supporting and equipping our growers to be able to produce some of the best high oleic sunflower seed crop in America. We are proud to produce our sunflower oil and livestock feed in Lamar, Colorado. Buying Colorado Proud (TM) means more than just supporting a local company—it’s about uplifting rural communities. Colorado Mills invests in local programs like Future Farmers of America and 4H, sources equipment from local suppliers, and partners with small shipping companies to distribute our products. Most importantly, we contract with local farmers to grow the crops that keep our facilities running and provide 50 plus employees with competitive wages and benefits.
