Colorado Mills is proud to support local agriculture in Southern Colorado. Colorado Mills contracts with local farmers to grow 25,000 acres of sunflower seeds to sustain our production. Contracting directly with farmers allows Colorado Mills to be in complete control of the product, from the seeds to the bottling. We are a Colorado Proud product.
When buying Colorado Proud it is not just about buying from a local company, it is about supporting a rural community. Colorado Mills supports local programs such as Future Farmers of America and 4H. We buy equipment locally to maintain our facilities. We contract with small local shipping companies to distribute the product. Importantly, we contract with local farmers to grow the crops needed to sustain our facilities that employ 38 people with competitive wages and benefits.
